Fruit Giving

I treasure
I measure and see
I get it
I take it
I make it a way of life
To owe and know

To merry
The berry is not
A mission
Of vision
Or ambition which comes my way
Since I am by God

The berry
Itself is no good
It belongs
To the throngs of songs
By which it to life was made
As one anew

  2. There's a sense here that your treasure is the fruit, because it was made and gifted to you by God. You value the Creator and not just the created.

  3. Your words are always so welcome, my friend! The metaphor of the berry is wonderful and I appreciate how you connect the lines to express yourself. A pleasure to read.
